the feel is simular to nfs15 as far as cruising would go, but the amount of cars is just staggering

05-12-2017 19:18
you should get the full copy, i did too, not bothered with the dlc, just the full game. and this isnt filled with nfs kids crashing everybody but they actually drive nicely in it. map is small but it sure doesnt feel like it all tho i dont see us cruise

05-12-2017 19:02
and i had the same problem with it in the demo with the g27, not with the t500 and tweaked settings its much better and actually more sim like then arcade. and all the cars handle different too. really not bad at all

05-12-2017 19:01
you know they have adaptors for it? 2 x molex to combine into a single x6 power connector for the card... i had to do that too lol

05-12-2017 19:00
as soon as i can figure out how to record ill make a vid for the settings, dispite the map beeing smallish this is even better then nfs2015 was as far as handling goes. @ ralph, maybe time to install the gtx950? if you dont have the x6 connector for power

05-12-2017 18:34
my game plays on ultra settings np but I took it down a notch set it on high. lol Smile

05-12-2017 18:31
.. i wish I could settle her down a bit more but I think I can tolerate it. May even grab a full copy.

05-12-2017 18:29
My car was exactly like Don's was super jerky handling, even after setting sensitivity to zero it was bad. that wheel damper made the game somewhat enjoyable for me...

i wonder, we used to pick random rides and race a track in mco for fun. had the idea that maybe we pick some standard ride sometime, nothing that no one wouldnt have or isnt really expensive, and then a faction race (or even a mission maybe) that seems popular and run it for a week or so, just for some fun competition and we would get some use out of cars we dont really run that much.

Yea Sleeper I like that idea. We all need to agree on a faction (I don't really like the missions, lol) and what car we will use. But I'll go with the flow. Let's see what kind of feedback we get about your idea and go from there. Smile

we could just do the newer camaro, charger, challenger, or even the pickups, or whatever. i was thinking i have all these cars, some that i upgraded to platinum in some extent or another, and havent driven much for quite a while now. we could also do "vintage" races and pick one of the muscle cars, like impala, camaro, charger, stang etc, if everyone who wanted to participate had it. im good for any, just thought to dust off some cars i dont drive that often. i dont have many of the high dollar cars, but i have all the cheaper ones Smile

Ralph68
I'm game for any cars, my thoughts are to all have the same built car so we're all on a level playing field but I realize that's out of the question. If someone hasn't spent the time to upgrade a car we pick then they won't have a fair chance. A few Fullstock factions would be awesome for a weekly challenge, giving everyone a level playing field as far as car setups go.

yeah i was actually thinking the same thing, about the fullstock deal. that would be ideal, but i dont know what we could run with fullstock cars, besides regular skills, and if could even finish some of them with a stock car

TheSleeper
the street upgrades are pretty cheap i think, but the perfomance ones get pricey, even if you did just the basics....hmm. we should still have the parts from the basic upgrade in the perfomnace shop, could prob go back and put on the first tier parts.

Ralph68
Yep street class is by far the cheapest car to build but that limits us to Fleeing The Country, it's the only street run, I think.. lol. I need to take a better look around. Smile

It would be wicked pissa if you could select your class you want to run on any faction, instead of being limiting to a designated class per faction.

i completely agree.

We discussed this over 2 years ago. lol If you guys want to get this going let me know we can talk about it and come up with a working system. I've already come up with a challenge schedule sheet that can be adjusted as needed.

that sounds well and all but...
it would be a 3 or 4 man competition thing i guess since
not that many of us come around anymore tho.

question would be if it will be any length and any car or
restricted to a short track with a specific car like the guy's
from TDU-DT do, either way will work i suppose.

i'll give it a go if it kicks off tho Wink

I know what you mean I can hear the crickets around here. That was the idea for the challenge, to hopefully spark interest for others to join in. I see Donnie made the challenge over there so he can't play. lol Sad Smile

i dunno, knowing donnie im sure he can play a challenge here too lol
another thing is the TDU-DT guy's and girls might be interested to try
a challenge here too.
i've run it too and it's not bad at all, there are some very fast players there

I would be in. Since we are not cruising that much anymore, it would be fun and i'm getting slowly into that hole videoeditingthing. Smile Just doing it here by ourselves might not be the way we can go for a longer period. It will end like the photocontest on tdumods. At the end only 3 or 4 members will drive (and we do not even have that many more active members here).

I think if we talk to the TDU-DT-members we can work something out. Maybe one week we setup the challenge and one week them. More heads that crack their brains for new races.

But i guess in this case we would need to clear which forum is the base for all of that. Probably their forum would be better since we are registered there and they not here. And at the end of the day it does not really matter where the platform for the challenge is as long as enough players participate. (It could even be the Ubiforum.)

Just propose it there. Wink

We can continue over at TDUDT since we're members their. The only thing I don't like is the lack of order, I never would have found the thread until Dog told me it was on page 120. I would like to suggest a google spread sheet like the one I created to organize the challenges. This way people don't have to go through 120 pages to find out what's going on, simple look at the schedule to see which car, spec and get the code. Smile

well, the winner of this week makes the challenge of next week
so i dunno how well a schedule would work, but just looking at the last 2 pages
is maybe a minute of your time.
no need to start at the first page lol
but i can always send you a pm with details if you want Wink

I'm thinking not search through over 100 pages to find past challenges, after they're over it be good idea to keep track to run another time with another car. The winner making it for the next can add it to the schedule with a run date spec car ect posted easily for past and preset reference. Smile We can also keep track of all player scores that participate in each event.

well, it isn't a bad idea...
maybe throw up a ball on the TDU-DT forum and see if it get's
caught and or thrown back?
they have a table function in it anyway's so shouldn't be that hard
to get implemented.

The basic idea of Ralph is definitely not bad. So we could see which challenges were set up in the past and what you can do next (if your up to crate one).
